JW Vault Collection (JWV)

One of the first production music libraries in the world with copyrights dating back to the 1950’s.  Established as the go to library for music film and TV music in the 50’s, 60’s and 70’s the catalogue was used extensively in the cult movie Plan 9 from Outer Space, throughout Popeye and Bozo the Clown amongst others. Other interesting placements include usages in American Werewolf in London and the cult classic of Desmond Leslies ‘Musique Concrete’ . Recognisable tracks  include Syd Dales Marching There and Back, The Watermill and the famous Newsroom queues, if you don’t recognise the titles you will recognise the track, guaranteed!

This historic catalogue hosts a wealth of gems and all recorded live during this period. This is original archive production music and not to be missed.  Reissued here for the first time since its original release onto Vinyl and offering both a remastered and original version of each track.  This early production music was all  recorded in famous London  recording studios, often with a full orchestra ,  by  a heritage of composers including George Fenton, G Vinter, Ronald Hanmer, Geoff Bastow, Midas Touch, Ernst Tomlinson, Trevor Duncan, Peter Hope, Ronald Binge, Ray Davies,  Tony Lowry and many more

The JW Media Music Vault Collection has stood the test of time and the beauty and elegance of the early production music is very much in evidence here with orchestral movements to challenge anything recorded today alongside the classic sounds of the period.  This really is a treat for the ears and the defining history of production music all in one.
