Sweet Victory: Nickelodeon's 'Super Bowl LVIII Live from Bikini Bottom' Gets Sports Emmy Nod for Outstanding Live Special

The Television Academy announced the nominees for this year's Sports Emmys, and Nickelodeon's live broadcast of Super Bowl LVIII entitled Super Bowl LVIII Live from Bikini Bottom gets an Emmy nomination for "Outstanding Live Special." 

Ushered in by the Bikini Bottom Super Band's legendary performance of the classic APM Music track "Sweet Victory," Nickelodeon's broadcast of the big game included live panel commentary by SpongeBob SquarePants and Patrick Star, "Slime Time" during touchdown celebrations, cute Bikini Bottom in-field graphics, and more. It is a unique take on an American sporting tradition that is both endearing and entertaining.
